With over 500 products being exported to over 30 countries as of 2021, Balaji Agarbatti Company was originally established in 1957 as a maker and seller of incense sticks. A name that is today, synonymous with high quality products and patronage that has lasted for more than seven decades, B A C proudly upholds its product mix that includes but is not limited to – Incense Sticks, Dhoop Sticks, Dhoop Cones, Back-Flow cones, Sambrani Cups, Wet Dhoop Sticks, Long-Incense Sticks, Soaps and Roll-on Perfumes.
As a brand that is today a part of most Indian homes with an intent to grow into an indispensable part of every home, Balaji has always carried with it a reputation for providing high quality products and pioneering innovation in the industry’s products and fragrances – making the company a trend-setter in its own right. Much of this, can be attributed to the fact that unlike most other players in the industry, our in-house blending facilities enable us to choose the choicest material for our products – from Essential Oils and Resins to Aromatic Chemicals, from our well established sourcing network built over the decades.
An additional matter of pride for all of us at Balaji, lies in the fact that our workforce largely comprises of women, who make up almost 70% of the number. Not only are these wonderful women the real back-bone of Balaji as a business, their livelihood is also a source of income, stability and status for them – with most of them being from rural regions – and most importantly, earns them dignity and respect, wherever they go.
From a simple maker of incenses to a partnership firm that provides fragrances and aromatics to homes in all major cities of the country, not to mention abroad, B A C’s history is resplendent with the many milestones that have been crossed through the unity and sheer will of many generations of visionaries.
